Jill Claus, a friend of Perpetua Alfazema, moved from Ontario, Canada to Caia, Mozambique to establish Ray of Hope House, a project helping orphans and families in-need in Caia. She has been the book keeper for Kuwangisana and helped the project in the beginning months, hiring staff, arranging training, meeting with staff and medical personnel, and arranging site visits from North West Medical Teams and the Stephen Lewis Foundation before Perpetua arrived to take over as manager for the project.  Jill also visits Kapasseni, and her work there has included guiding a site visit by the Stephen Lewis Foundation, helping arrange HIV/AIDS workshops, and assisting with communication.
